World Class Facilities In the Heart of The Capital
With sites in Islington and Shoreditch, Alchemea’s facilities are equipped to the highest professional standards. All of our studio technology is kept up to date and most importantly reflect what is being used in the “real world”. Unlike many colleges, our studios are for the sole use of our students. We are not a commercial facility. Student’s are therefore guaranteed an unparalleled amount of individual hands-on practical time in our state of the art studios.

- 5.1 Cinema Dubbing Theatre based around Avid’s flagship ICON D-Control work surface
- Euphonix CS3000 control room: Pro Tools HD3, Genelec & Dynaudio monitoring, high end outboard gear (UAD, Lexicon, Eventideetc…) and a classic Otari MTR90 2” tape machine
- SSL G-series control room: valve analogue outboard & Otari MTR90 2” tape machine
- Electronic Music Production Room: Mac Pro, Euphonix MC, TLA Fat Track, Virus, Nord Lead, Korg MS2000, DX-7, NI Komplete,Spectrasoncs, Waves Diamond Bundle, UAD-2 DSP (every plug-in!)
- 2 x Apple Labs. Both with the latest fully loaded Apple iMacs, Avid M-Boxes and MIDI keyboards.• Mac Pro (8 core) workstations loaded with UAD-2 DSP Cards (includes all UAD plug-ins) and the latest music production software including Pro Tools and Logic.
- 3 fully routable live recording areas including vocal booth
- Live Sound Venue: one of the best sounding PA rigs in the country comprising of a D&B Audiotechnik Q-series, Digidedign Venue F.O.H. and Yamaha LS9 monitor mixing console.
