VENUE 210V: Live Sound Production

Digidesign Venue TrainingThe VENUE 210V: Live Sound Production course is designed for current or future operators of VENUE. The course focuses on configuration, operation, mixing techniques and record/playback with Pro Tools systems. We cover plenty of tips and tricks – even for the experienced VENUE user.

Topics include:

  • VENUE configuration and basic troubleshooting
  • Standalone D-Show software and remote control capability of VENUE
  • Patchbay operation and assignments
  • Basic operation (input, output, Assignable Channel Section (ACS)
  • Use of Auxes, Groups, Matrix, and PQ Mixers
  • Advanced VENUE mixing techniques
  • TDM Plug-Ins – installation, usuage, management
  • Snapshot/recall automation modes
  • Using VENUE as a FOH or Monitor board
  • Using Pro Tools HD and LE for record/playback from VENUE
  • Using MIDI sequencing features

VENUE certificationUpon successful completion of the Pro Tools 210V students are eligible to take the VENUE Certification exam. Passing this exam could open doors to additional work in the industry.


Prerequisites:
We advise that student’s have an understanding of the fundamental of Pro Tools and live sound experience before taking the 210V “VENUE Live Sound Production” course.

Price: £1250

Course Length: Three days (24-30 course hours).
