Overseas Students
Alchemea has a proud tradition of teaching students from all over the world. On average 40% of Diploma students come from overseas. This helps to create the dynamic that is unique to Alchemea.
While it is essential to have a reasonable command of written and spoken English, our lecturers are very experienced in teaching students for whom English is not their first language.
Student Visa's
To study in the UK, non EU-students need to obtain a student visa. Check out the link below for further information about the conditions, who is eligible and how to apply: UK Student Visa Guidance
Alchemea is listed on the DFES register of approved learning providers. The Register is a list of genuine education and training providers in England. Search the DfES website

Accommodation
While it is exiting we also appreciate that it can daunting coming to London for the first time. We will do everything we can to make you feel at home as quickly as possible. We can book you into quality good value local short-term accommodation while you look for something more permanent. We do our best to put students in contact with each other so they can hunt for accommodation together. We also have a list of landlords and agencies that are also more than happy to help. Application Process for Non-EU students:
- Book a time for a studio visit and informal interview. If this is not possible due to location then a time can be set to conduct a telephone interview.
- Upon acceptance complete and return an application form with a deposit for £500*
- We will then post you a letter to present to the British High Commission to facilitate your application for a student visa.
- If your student visa application is unsuccessful we will refund your deposit minus an admin fee of £50.
- Pay the balance of course fees or the first course fee instalment one month before the course start date.
- We will post out your joining details.
