Alchemea is located just off Essex Road in the fashionable London borough of Islington. We are a 10 minute walk from Angel tube station and a 15 minute walk from Highbury & Islington tube station. Click here for our location map.

Islington has excellent transport connections and it is within sight of the capital's financial heart, the City of London, and only minutes away from London's West End and theatres.

More and more people have found that Angel Islington is a great place to visit. Unlike many central areas of London, where visitors overwhelm obvious destinations, Islington's attraction is subtler making it the ideal place to study.

London is famous for it's music & club scene and Islington is at the heart of the action. Check out Islington's Carling Academy. Band recordings are a major focus of the Alchemea diploma. You will find live acts playing every night of the week however we also manage a database of bands that are available for you to record.

While courses at Alchemea are very intensive this doesn't mean that you won't have time to enjoy London's nightlife. Islington is blessed with a plethora of bars, pubs and restraints and if clubbing is your thing you will find some of the world best (Fabric, The End, Ministry of Sound) only a stones throw from the college.

London is also at the heart of the recording industry. There is a higher concentration of studios in London that anywhere else in the UK. Soho is the home to the post production industry and London also boasts legendary studios like Abbey Road, Air and Olympic. Alchemea's main goal is to make students as employable as possible. We have links with the industry and over 85% of our diploma graduates find work within 6 months.
