Since then she has also toured with a number of bands on Domino Records, has seen the world working on cruise ships and in exotic holiday resorts form Crete to Mexico, was head of sound for the infamous Masque of the Red Death Lates parties in conjunction with Punchdrunk theatre company and has production managed numerous events including the spectacular Faster Than Sound (www.fasterthansound.com) and the 50th anniversary celebration of the Lovell Radio Telescope at Jodrell Bank.
Darryn has also dabbled in the world of filmmaking and apart from being a location sound recordist for many a short film, she also won an award for her own first documentary.
Darryn has taught various aspects of sound engineering at the University of North London (now London Metropolitan University), Waltham Forest College and the Courtyard Theatre Stage Management school.
She is a currently a regular engineer at the London nightclub, Heaven, but is about to give all that up to dedicate her time to co-ordinating and help teach Alchemea’s new Live Sound Diploma Course.
