Alchemea College of Audio Engineering

Danny is regarded as one of the pioneers of the UK breaks sound alongside Rennie Pilgrem, Adam Freeland and Tayo. As Uptown Connection with Beber he has released seminal records such as 'LA' and 'Renegades'. He has worked with the likes of Arthur Baker and remixed New Order and Simple Minds to name a few.

As a DJ he has travelled the world over and has played to millions of people his unique brand of breakbeat. He has won acclaim with his groundbreaking compilations including the seminal Nu Skool Breaks series with Rennie Pilgrem and his own Nu Shapes in Breaks.

Over the past few months he has been developing his own custom controller to use with Ableton Live for his latest album project PRESS
X [to start], containing no less that eight unreleased collaborations on his co-owned In-Flight label. Danny has recorded under many aliases
including Uptown Connection, Boundarie Hunters, Soul Electric and new band project Heavy Still.

As ever he is still pushing the creative envelope on various new projects due to drop next year. When he is not in the studio, working the label or DJing he finds time to teach various applications including Logic, Reason and Ableton Live at music production schools nation wide.

Alchemea is proud to be working with Danny to offer Ableton Live 5 and Reason Training.
