Course Overview
Welcome to Alchemea’s Ableton Live Training Program. We have worked closely with leading producers, DJ’s and label bosses to create 3 training modules aimed to appeal to beginners, experienced users, music producers and DJ’s. As well a giving out a copy of Music Techs Ableton Live 8 Focus magazine & DVD students can also benefit from great savings on software. Discounts are also available for taking more than one module.
What is Ableton Live?
Ableton Live is about making music; for composition, song writing, recording, production, remixing and live performance. Live’s nonlinear, intuitive flow, alongside powerful real-time editing and flexible performance options, make it a unique studio tool and a favourite with live performers. If you’d rather be “making music” than just “using music software,” Ableton Live is for you.
Why use Ableton for Live Performance?
Thanks to its unique real-time features, Live opens up entirely new worlds of creative expression. Mix any number of tracks and loops, remix on the fly, capture audio loops in real time from decks and other external sources, incorporate your own productions into the mix, and much more. Not only for DJ’s Ableton’s Looper provides classic sound-on-sound looping without the limitations of a hardware device. This can be operated remotely so you can now record, overdub, undo and more without touching the computer. Ableton Live has been adopted by many high profile DJ’s and pioneers include Sasha, Paul Van Dyk and Richie Hawtin.
