How Alchemea Helped Me
I had studied many courses before, about music and sound engineer but I still felt my own personal lack of knowledge, so I knew I had to change and I did know it was going to be hard but by the time I decided to move to London I was determined and I was going to really go for it.
During the 9 month period of Alchemea diploma I almost moved into the place and also had to work as well to pay the bills. I gave up a lot of things. It was a huge
sacrifice but because it’s a lot of money and a lot of effort. You have to be 100%.
I finished the course and got myself credits on some albums as recording engineer.
I couldn’t get the opportunities of working on the industry without the skills I got in Alchemea in such a short period of time.
I’d like to thank everybody in this place. Cool people!
After Alchemea
As soon as I left Alchemea on 2005 I moved back home to Spain, 2 months later I got a job, working on TV as sound operator (Telecinco). Then I got myself involved on the Spanish edition of Survival (Dominican Republic), so I have to move again.
Back in Spain I started doing freelance engineer, dubbing and post pro on TV series, always on Pro Tools.
What I Am Doing Now
Nowadays I work as sound operator on TV and regularly work as Pro Tools operator on post pro on many productions in Spain and overseas. (Dominican Republic, Honduras, etc)
